Hi! This is Christina. I’m currently entering my senior year studying 2D Animation at the School of Visual Arts.

From a young age, I have been fascinated by moving images and the imaginative worlds created through animation. I realized early on that I was more comfortable expressing my thoughts and emotions through visuals rather than words. Drawing became my way of communicating with the world and sharing stories that I couldn’t fully express verbally.

As I grew older, especially during middle school, I became increasingly interested in animation as a storytelling medium. Unlike a single image, animation allowed me to explore movement, emotion, timing, and atmosphere. I began creating original characters and building my own worlds to reflect personal experiences and connect with others through visual storytelling.

Currently, I’m focusing more on storyboarding and cinematic language, especially exploring composition, camera movement, and visual storytelling. I’m also interested in the production side of animation, where I enjoy staying detail-oriented, organized, and supporting creative workflows.
